1. Who we are

Today We Read is a bookshop based in Bangkok, Thailand. References to "we", "us" and "the shop" mean Today We Read; "you" means the person using this website or placing an order.

2. Orders

• An order is accepted when we send an order confirmation by email. We may decline or cancel an order where an item is out of stock, mis-priced or where payment cannot be verified; anything already paid is refunded in full.
• Prices are shown in Thai Baht (THB) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown separately before you pay.
• Stock shown online is synchronised with the shop but may occasionally lag; if an item sells out after you order we will contact you to offer an alternative or a refund.

3. Payment

We accept credit and debit cards and PromptPay QR. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we do not store your card details.

4. Delivery

• Bangkok: ฿60, 1–2 business days. Rest of Thailand: ฿90, 2–4 business days. Free delivery on orders over ฿1,500. Collection in store is free.
• Orders placed before 2pm ship the same business day. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by the courier or public holidays.

6. Gift cards

• Gift cards can be bought online or in the shop and redeemed only in person at the Today We Read shop (Family Fields, Sukhumvit 38); they cannot be used on the online store.
• Valid for 3 months (90 days) from purchase; remaining value cannot be exchanged for cash; cards cannot be topped up or gifted onward.
• Today We Read is not responsible for lost, damaged, stolen or improperly used cards. A card is invalid if its barcode is defective or the security feature is damaged.

7. Events and workshops

Places are confirmed by email with a QR code. Paid places may be moved to another session up to 48 hours before the event, subject to availability. We may photograph events for our own communications; tell a member of staff on the day if you would prefer not to appear.

8. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login details private and for activity on your account. You can ask us to close your account at any time.

9. Content and intellectual property

The Today We Read name, logo, illustrations and website content belong to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission. Book covers and descriptions are shown for the purpose of selling those titles.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Thai law. Beyond that, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
